Job Role: Infrastructure Engineer — Performance & Load Testing

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Job Description: Our squad that needs an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Performance & Load Testing to manage and scale our automated performance testing infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning isolated, production-grade test environments, automating high-volume data seeding, orchestrating scalable load executions, and leveraging modern observability tools to monitor infrastructure health under peak stress. Qualifications &

Required Skills:- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).- Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, or Kubernetes manifests for environment setup and lifecycle management.- Strong experience configuring Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog to monitor, alert, and trace performance metrics during stress testing.- Experience building pipelines for database seeding, cleanup, and synthetic dataset management (SQL/NoSQL).- Familiarity with triggering and scaling distributed load-testing tools (e.g., k6 operator, Locust, Gatling) on Kubernetes. Preferred Skills:- Experience embedding automated infrastructure provisioning and load-test execution into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo Workflows).- Experience optimizing GCP resource allocation and auto-scaling rules for cost-effective load generation.- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for infrastructure automation and custom telemetry exporters.
