Job Role: SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst
Location: Brea, CA (Preference to LA region - Need to be at client location 2 weeks a month)

Job Description:
Note: Candidate should have experience on VIM and RAR
Finance / Controlling:
o    Provide expertise within the FICO modules and integration to other SAP modules and external systems.
o    Support the business during the implementation and the knowledge transfer of the business processes.
o    Responsible for SAP projects and act as SME for any other project impacting Finance processes.
o    Work with business functions experts and managers to prioritize plan and implement improvements and enhancements in the supported processes and business solutions.
o    Provide and supervise documentation.
o    Provide first and second level support for all the issues related to the application owned.
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients’ business
o    Design, configuration, implementation and support of all FI/CO modules in alignment with the FICO Team Lead
o     Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs (Handle Day to day production issues   in all  FI and CO Modules globally.- Report Bugs/issues with SAP as part of support process. - Handle Enhancements, Coordination with Developers. - Handle Interface issues, resolving issues with IDOCS. - Support provided Globally for 42 company codes, all regions with local legal requirements. - Support Payment run issues with various XML files globally (around 15 banks) and payment media forms. - Dealt with intercompany transactions,  billing and flow of these documents [SD, FI, MM] in to CO-PA. - Create unit and integration test scenarios, execute the scenarios, and resolve configuration and process  issues that might occur during testing.)

Understand, Design and Manage Financial processes.
Change Management:
Handle Change Requests from the business according to the Envista Change Mgmt process
Proactively propose changes where these will represent potential improvement to the business
Support / Training:
Training of key users on the process and application
Handling of support tickets
Management of external resources with the ticketing process
Application support for infrastructual changes and application upgrades
Proactively drive process standardization and reduction of complexity within the application landscape and the business processes
Following Nobel Biocare SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance and system / process validation
Drive innovation within the application landscape and processes (simpler, better, more efficient)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – Functional/technical competencies specific to the role and required to perform the role
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)
  • You have a university degree or equivalent based on experience
  • You have at least 8 years’ experience in SAP FICO solutions
  • You have good communication, coordination and people skills and you are able to organize workshops with senior and middle management
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are flexible and apt to work in a continuously challenging and changing environment.
  • Strong technical IT knowledge of supported Business Applications
  • Good knowledge of other relevant business processes
  • Strong knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other external applications

  • Proven business and technical IT knowledge within the area Finance/Controlling (SAP FICO all core modules – GL, AR, AP, FA, Banking, Tax etc)
  • Knowledge of any of the following application/processes will be an advantage: Concur, Paymetric, VIM, Sabrix, bank integration
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) 
  • Understand ABAP language and programs (including Sapscript)
    Critical Experience:
  • Proven experience of system configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules
  • Proven experience in supporting the SAP FICO modules 
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Preferred experience of working in a multicultural work environment
