**Job Title: Senior Networking IT - Infrastructure Engineer** **Location:** Plymouth, MN **Start Date:** ASAP **Job Description:** As a Senior Networking Engineer – IT Infrastructure, you will be instrumental in delivering complex infrastructure projects and advancing our network environment. In this senior capacity, you will provide deep technical expertise, execute high-impact networking initiatives, and ensure solutions align with established technology standards. You will be responsible for driving the technical quality of deliverables, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and contributing to strategic technical decisions. This role the ability to understand the broader technology landscape while applying strong engineering discipline and best-practice project execution. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and optimize high-performance SD-WAN hub-and-spoke architectures. - Architect, deploy, and refine enterprise-grade wired and wireless network solutions. - Provide senior-level technical expertise for physical and logical network infrastructure initiatives. - Work closely with network, solution, and enterprise architects to support cohesive design strategies. - Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators across wired, wireless, and SD-WAN solutions. - Contribute to the automation of alerts, configuration processes, and remediation workflows. - Implement network security controls and enforce standards defined by the security team. - Provide Tier 3 support for service, incident response, and complex troubleshooting scenarios. - Review existing architectures, configurations, and tooling to identify opportunities for enhancement. - Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies. - 5+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships. - 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying SD-WAN solutions. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master’s degree preferred. - 16+ years of experience in the field. ** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Knowledge of infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud technologies. - A current CCNP or above certification. - Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Ability to take charge and orchestrate work, facilitate decisions, and collaborate with infrastructure leadership to drive necessary actions.
