Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems major preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Expertise in containerization technologies and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
  • Experience and knowledge of one IaC tool (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • In-depth experience with CI/CD tools and advanced deployment technologies. (Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, and GIT)
  • Experience supporting microservices and SAAS deployments to one or more Cloud environments.
  • Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query design, server configuration tuning, data integrity, and high availability solutions.
  • Experience in version control systems, especially Git, and extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in 1 or more cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-prem platform/services such as IBM Redhat.
  • Understanding and experience integrating monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog).
  • Skilled in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with programming language package management tools such as NPM, Composer, etc
  • Knowledge of security practices, secure configurations, and architecture at an advanced level.
  • Strong understanding of network principles and connectivity (private/public) in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Working knowledge of RHEL systems administration and strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing Cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of applications on Cloud platforms.
  • Write and maintain well-documented, and secure code for infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines supporting product / platform teams.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
  • Support production infrastructure and services in the cloud and participate in weekly on-call rotations.
  • Design and implement automation with product / platform teams for test and deployment to different environments.
  • Work with other developers in their associated tech stacks and frameworks to enable pipelines for their code deployment to test and production environments.
