CAPPS GL Analyst

**Job Title: CAPPS GL Analyst** **Location:** Austin, TX (Hybrid) **Duration:** Long Term **Position Overview:** The CAPPS GL Analyst will provide advanced consultative services and functional support for the CAPPS Program, focusing on the General Ledger (GL), Commitment Control, Budgeting, and related modules within a statewide ERP environment. This role involves supporting multiple state agencies and expertise in system configuration, policy compliance, and cross-functional support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform highly advanced (senior-level) consultative services and functional assistance related to supporting the CAPPS Program. - Serve as subject matter expert for the CAPPS Asset Management module, including coordination, configuration, business process leadership, testing, and reporting. - Support system configuration changes, incident management, and user support efforts. - Collaborate on release management, policy adherence, and training initiatives. - Support integrations with other modules and ensure compliance with policies. ** :** - Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies. - Extensive technical skillsets with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc. - Extensive knowledge supporting and providing oversight with batch jobs, i.e., Run My Jobs (RMJ). - Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance. - Extensive experience supporting the General Ledger/Commitment Control core module of PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2.
