Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Consultant with strong expertise in legacy system modernization and cloud repatriation to lead and execute migration initiatives from AWS-based workloads back to enterprise Mainframe environments.

Migration Strategy & Architecture

  • Lead end-to-end migration initiatives from AWS infrastructure to Mainframe platforms.

  • Assess AWS-hosted workloads and determine feasibility, migration patterns, and architecture alignment with enterprise Mainframe systems.

  • Design migration frameworks including re-platforming, refactoring, or re-hosting approaches.

  • Develop technical architecture, system integration plans, and transition strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mainframe modernization or cloud repatriation projects.

  • Familiarity with API integration and microservices bridging between cloud and Mainframe systems.

  • Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or large enterprise IT environments.

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, monitoring frameworks, and workload schedulers.
