Tech Business Analyst

**Job Role: Tech Business Analyst** **Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Banking/Financial Services and SQL experience. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, translate business into technical specifications, analyze data using SQL, and support end-to-end delivery of banking applications and systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, analyze, and document business and technical for banking applications. - Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and technology teams. - Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. - Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL queries. - Analyze existing systems, data flows, APIs, and application integrations to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. - Translate business into clear technical and acceptance criteria. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. ** Skills:** - 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst. - Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience – Must Have. - Strong hands-on SQL experience – Must Have. - Experience with relational databases, data analysis, joins, subqueries, and complex SQL queries. - Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience writing technical and functional. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with retail banking, commercial banking, payments, loans, deposits, cards, or financial transactions. - Experience with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
