Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Durham, North Carolina – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) – Local Candidates Only

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain ABAP solutions across multiple SAP modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users and functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions within SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs across various SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to gather requirements and clarify technical needs.

• Design, develop, test, and debug ABAP objects, including:

  • Reports (Classical & ALV)

  • Interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs)

  • Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)

  • Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)

  • OData Services

• Support integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance activities.

• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test scripts, and deployment procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA development

• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP development practices

• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models

• Prior experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or finance processes
