Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and manage Agile Release Trains (ARTs) for large-scale enterprise programs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAFe methodology, Agile frameworks, and program-level coordination across multiple teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to Agile environments
  • 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or in a Program-level Agile role
  • SAFe Certification (SAFe RTE or SAFe Agilist preferred)
  • Proven experience working as a Scrum Master managing multiple Agile teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver large-scale, complex Agile programs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and coordinate Agile Release Train (ART) events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt sessions
  • Align multiple Agile teams toward common program objectives and timelines
  • Identify, track, and help resolve program-level risks and dependencies
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to SAFe and Agile best practices
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Business Owners, and stakeholders for program success
  • Support teams in delivering high-quality increments on time
