Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical Product Analyst/ Data Analyst with strong expertise in Banking and Mortgage domain to support data-driven product development and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to analyse product performance, customer behaviour, and operational metrics across mortgage and banking platforms.
This role requires strong technical capabilities in Python, SQL, and Power BI, combined with deep understanding of banking processes, mortgage lifecycle, lending operations, and financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience with Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, data manipulation).
- Expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Deep understanding of Mortgage lifecycle, including:
- Loan Origination
- Loan Processing
- Underwriting
- Loan Servicing
- Mortgage compliance and risk metrics
- Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with data modelling, KPI definition, and business performance tracking.
- Knowledge of financial data analysis and lending metrics.
Experience with tools such as:
- Power BI
- SQL-based databases (SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Python data analysis libraries
- JIRA / Confluence or Agile tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or Mortgage Servicing Platforms.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, or big data platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking and mortgage industries.
