Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Fiserv PEP+ Consultant to support configuration, maintenance, and light development for PEP+ (Automated Clearing House processing platform). The role involves enhancing ACH processing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, resolving production issues, and supporting integrations within a large financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Fiserv PEP+ modules for ACH processing, settlement, returns, and exceptions.
- Perform minor development, scripting, and custom enhancements within the PEP+ environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth daily ACH operations.
- Support upgrades, patches, batch processing, and system performance tuning.
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to analyze requirements and implement system changes.
- Ensure compliance with NACHA rules and banking regulatory standards.
- 5–10+ years of hands-on experience with Fiserv PEP+ (ACH applications, settlement, batch jobs).
- Strong knowledge of ACH processing, NACHA formats, returns, and balancing.
- Experience with batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M), mainframe/Unix environments.
- Ability to perform minor coding/scripting (COBOL, JCL, Unix shell, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and communication skills.
- Experience integrating PEP+ with downstream banking systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 migration and modern ACH modernization initiatives.
