Job Role: ETL ElasticSearch/OpenSearch lead Database Engineer with ETL, EMR, and Data ingestion

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Day 1 onsite, minimum 3 days office)

Duration: Long-term contract

Key Skills: ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Data ingestion, Kafka Glue, EMR, Automation Tools (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript,), Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in managing Elasticsearch or OpenSearch clusters in production.
  • Managing data ingestion and Database knowledge on Kafka Glue and EMR
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and search engine internals.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript,).
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
