Data Engineer

**Job Title: Data Engineer** **Location:** Austin, TX (Hybrid) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves working within a healthcare or public health organization, focusing on data integration, data quality, and master data management to support organizational objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform studies, and conduct cost/benefit analyses of alternatives. - Analyze user, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems. - Confer with organizational personnel to analyze operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input/output. - Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps. - Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine the feasibility of changes. ** :** - 10+ years of experience using Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360. - 10+ years of experience establishing Master Data and for large organizations; experience with Informatica MDM preferred. - 10+ years of experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ. - 4+ years of experience working with enterprise-scale data sets in Snowflake. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field; Master's degree or 6+ years of work experience preferred.
