Senior DevSecOps Engineer

**Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer** **Location:** Charlotte, NC (100% Onsite) **Contract Duration:** 6-month contract to hire **Role Overview:** We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our application engineering team. This role is not a traditional DevOps position; it a strong focus on embedding security across the entire application delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency within the engineering team while implementing controls, automation, and threat-aware practices into every pipeline, deployment, and platform. You will collaborate at the intersection of Salesforce delivery, cloud infrastructure, and application security, working closely with engineers and security teams to enhance delivery speed and safety. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and create best practices from a DevOps perspective as the sole DevOps/DevSecOps resource. - Recognize and integrate security measures throughout the application delivery lifecycle. - Collaborate with technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication and implementation of best practices. **Top Skills :** - 6+ years of software development experience in one or more of the following: Java,.NET/C#, Python, Node.js, or Apex. - 3+ years of recent experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role, with at least 2 years focused on DevSecOps practices. - Hands-on experience managing production systems from end-to-end, including design, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. - Experience managing Salesforce deployments and releases as part of a broader CI/CD pipeline; familiarity with Gearset or Copado is a plus. - Proficiency in containerizing workloads with Docker, orchestrating via ECS/EKS (or AKS), and hardening images against CVEs and supply-chain attacks (SBOMs, signing, provenance). - Hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, etc.). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform. - Familiarity with SAST/DAST/SCA tooling, such as Snyk (preferred), Checkmarx, SonarQube, etc. - Strong communication skills are essential, as this role frequent interaction with technical teams and other business units, including leadership. **Submittal :** - Must be a U.S. Citizen. - All candidates must have a LinkedIn profile.
