QE Lead

**Job Title: QE Engagement Lead** **Location:** Charlotte, NC (3 Days Onsite) **Open to non-local candidates willing to relocate** **Role Overview:** Seeking a highly hands-on QE Engagement Lead to drive quality validation for application modernization and migration initiatives involving.NET, Angular, AWS, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. This is not a Test Manager role. The ideal candidate must be technically strong, capable of coding, reviewing automation, validating migrations, and leading client-facing QE engagements. **Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable):** *Agentic AI in Quality Engineering* - Hands-on experience building/customizing AI agents for test automation, test generation, defect triage, and impact analysis. - Experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, or similar. *Playwright Automation* - Strong hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks. - Ability to solve real-world automation challenges, not just provide high-level guidance. *Data Migration Testing* - Proven experience validating migrations involving SQL Server and PostgreSQL. - Expertise in source-to-target reconciliation, ETL validation, data quality checks, schema mapping, and functional parity testing. **The ideal candidate is:** - A hands-on automation engineer who can still code daily. - Deeply experienced with Playwright automation. - Capable of building or customizing Agentic AI testing solutions. - Strong in migration and data validation testing. - Comfortable challenging technical issues with clients and engineering teams. - Able to lead from the front rather than managing from a distance. - Experienced working within a client's existing frameworks and governance models. **Additional :** - 12+ years in QA/QE with client-facing leadership experience. - Strong SQL skills with SQL Server and PostgreSQL. - Experience testing.NET/.NET Core, Angular, APIs, and integration workflows. - Hands-on Azure DevOps CI/CD experience. - Ability to work within existing client frameworks and governance models. - Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills. **Preferred Skills:** - AWS (RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch) - REST Assured, Postman, Karate, Selenium - Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch - Legacy modernization and migration programs - Distributed onsite/offshore delivery model **Avoid:** Test Managers, QA Managers, Delivery Managers, and candidates with limited hands-on automation or AI implementation experience.
