Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced React Developer with AMEX OneApp expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications in enterprise environments, particularly within American Express platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and AMEX OneApp framework.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Stay current with modern front-end technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.js.
• Mandatory experience with AMEX OneApp platform.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs integration.
• Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, etc.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and front-end security best practices.
• Prior experience in financial services or enterprise-scale applications.
