Business Systems Analyst

**Job Title: Business Systems Analyst** **Location:** Remote (Local candidates preferred in Austin, TX) **Duration:** Long Term **Position Overview:** - Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and system capabilities to improve or automate existing solutions. - Lead elicitation sessions (e.g., JAD sessions, interviews, workflow analysis) and translate findings into clear deliverables. - Produce business and functional, user stories, use cases, wireframes, mockups, and software documentation. - Support the SDLC by collaborating with developers, architects, vendors, and infrastructure teams while managing change control. - Use tools such as Jira and management platforms to track, status, and communication across stakeholders. ** :** - 8+ years of experience with relational database concepts and how applications store and access data. - 8+ years of experience analyzing data used in system processing and reporting to identify issues and document logic. - 8+ years of hands-on experience using SQL or query tools to retrieve, validate, and reconcile data. - 8+ years of experience leading elicitation meetings and creating well-written system and technical. - Strong communication, facilitation, writing, and organizational skills with experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects.
