**Job Description – Infrastructure Technical SME / Architect** **Role Overview** We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Technical SME / Architect with broad and deep knowledge across enterprise infrastructure technologies. This role will serve as a central technical authority and escalation point for multiple infrastructure teams, providing architecture guidance, technical direction, troubleshooting support, and cross-functional coordination. This is a cross-domain technical SME role, rather than a role focused on day-to-day administration of a single technology. The SME will help technical teams understand complex issues, determine the right troubleshooting approach, identify dependencies, bring in the appropriate specialists, and drive issues through to resolution. **Experience & Qualifications** - 12+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, architecture, engineering, or technical leadership roles. - Strong experience across multiple infrastructure technology domains. - Proven experience acting as a technical SME, infrastructure architect, escalation engineer, or senior technical lead. - Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex, cross-domain infrastructure issues. - Experience leading technical teams during major incidents and complex infrastructure migrations. - Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and technology dependencies. - Experience working in large, complex, multi-vendor environments. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
