Job Title: Supply Chain Domain Architect
Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for a Supply Chain Domain Architect to lead the end-to-end technology architecture across Supply Chain functions, including planning, manufacturing, quality, logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment.

This role will drive cost optimization, platform simplification, and scalable architecture design, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards while enabling faster and smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Architecture Leadership

• Partner with Supply Chain and Enterprise Architecture leadership to define target operating models and capability roadmaps
• Lead the design of target-state architecture across Supply Chain platforms and value streams
• Develop phased roadmaps delivering measurable cost savings and long-term simplification
• Identify cross-functional risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities early

2. Solution Architecture & Platform Oversight

• Provide architecture leadership for large-scale Supply Chain initiatives and programs
• Guide solution design across key platforms including SAP, JD Edwards, Maximo, Camstar, and warehouse/fulfillment systems
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and compliance requirements
• Promote reuse of enterprise platforms over point solutions

3. Portfolio Simplification & Cost Optimization

• Assess current application landscape to identify consolidation and modernization opportunities
• Drive reduction of technical debt and redundant capabilities
• Partner with Finance to track cost savings and value realization
• Promote scalable, cost-efficient architecture patterns

4. Governance & Decision Enablement

• Represent Supply Chain architecture in enterprise governance and investment forums
• Enable consistent and fast architectural decision-making
• Ensure enterprise-first approach before introducing new technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles
• Strong experience across ERP, MES, logistics, warehouse, and fulfillment systems
• Hands-on exposure to platforms like SAP, JD Edwards, Maximo, Camstar, etc.
• Proven track record in cost optimization and portfolio simplification
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
