Experience/Technical Skills required:  
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with strong Apptio (TBM) expertise to lead enterprise-scale financial transparency and IT cost optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end Apptio programs, partner with Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Apptio (TBM, Cost Transparency, ITFM) implementation and optimization programs
  • Own end-to-end program planning, execution, governance, and delivery
  • Partner with CIO, CFO, Finance, IT, and Business leaders to align technology spend with business outcomes
  • Drive IT cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback/showback initiatives
  • Manage multiple workstreams including data ingestion, modeling, reporting, and dashboards
  • Define and track program KPIs, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation models aligned to TBM taxonomy
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Apptio architects, data engineers, finance analysts, and vendors
  • Facilitate executive readouts, steering committee meetings, and value realization reviews
  • Support continuous improvement, platform enhancements, and roadmap planning
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Program Management (IT / Finance / Enterprise Transformation)
  • 3+ years of hands-on Apptio experience (TBM, ITFM, Cost Transparency)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Technology Business Management (TBM) framework
    • IT financial management, CapEx/OpEx, budgeting & forecasting
    • Cost allocation, showback/chargeback models
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models
  • Excellent risk management, planning, and reporting skills
