**Job Title: SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Architect / Functional Lead** **Position Summary:** We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Functional Lead/Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP/ATP), and SAP Materials Management (MM). The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end planning and manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and order fulfillment. This role deep business process knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and extensive experience delivering SAP S/4HANA manufacturing solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** *SAP Production Planning (PP)* - Design, configure, and implement SAP Production Planning solutions. - Configure and support: - Material Master - Bill of Materials (BOM) - Routings - Production Versions - Work Centers - Production Orders - Process Orders - Repetitive Manufacturing - Configure and optimize MRP Live and Classic MRP. - Support Demand Management and Long-Term Planning. - Optimize production scheduling and capacity planning. - Support Engineering Change Management (ECM). - Improve manufacturing efficiency using SAP best practices. *ATP / Advanced ATP (aATP)* - Configure and optimize SAP ATP/aATP functionality. - Design and implement: - Product Availability Check - Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC) - Backorder Processing (BOP) - Product Allocation (PAL) - Release for Delivery - Improve order confirmation accuracy and customer delivery commitments. - Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to optimize order fulfillment. *SAP Materials Management (MM)* - Configure and support: - Procurement - Purchasing - Inventory Management - Goods Receipt/Goods Issue - Stock Transfers - Physical Inventory - Vendor Master - Material Valuation - Optimize inventory levels and material availability. - Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline material flow. *Integration Responsibilities* - Design and support integration between SAP PP and: - SAP MM - SAP SD - SAP EWM - SAP WM - SAP QM - SAP PM - SAP TM - SAP IBP (preferred) - MES systems - SAP BTP Integration Suite - SAP PI/PO - APIs, IDocs, and OData services *Business Process Improvement* - Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend SAP best practices. - Improve production planning accuracy. - Optimize inventory management and material flow. - Reduce manufacturing cycle time. - Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify opportunities for process automation. *Project Responsibilities* - Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects. - Conduct business process workshops. - Gather and document business. - Prepare Functional Specifications. - Review Technical Specifications. - Support: - Unit Testing - System Integration Testing (SIT) - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Execute cutover planning and go-live activities. - Provide Hypercare and Production Support. ** Skills:** - SAP Functional Expertise: - SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) - SAP Materials Management (MM) - SAP ATP / Advanced ATP (aATP) - MRP Live - Production Orders - Capacity Planning - Demand Management - Production Scheduling - Integration Knowledge: - Experience integrating SAP PP with: - SAP SD - SAP MM - SAP EWM - SAP WM - SAP QM - SAP PM - SAP TM - SAP IBP - SAP BTP Integration Suite - SAP PI/PO - APIs - IDocs - OData ** Experience:** - 20+ years of SAP PP/MM experience. - 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects. - 2+ SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects. - Experience with SAP ATP/aATP. - Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes. - Experience in High-Tech, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Automotive, or Industrial Manufacturing industries. **Preferred Qualifications:** - SAP S/4HANA Certification - SAP PP Certification - SAP MM Certification - Experience with SAP IBP - Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) - Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) **Soft Skills:** - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong stakeholder management. - Ability to lead cross-functional workshops. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience managing global teams. - Ability to mentor junior consultants and functional analysts. - Strong leadership and decision-making skills. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - SAP IBP - SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) - SAP EWM - SAP TM - SAP BTP Integration Suite - SAP Fiori - Embedded Analytics - Power BI/Tableau - Knowledge of AI-enabled supply chain planning and manufacturing analytics.
